In today's press conference, Safet Susic talked about his roster selection for the friendly against Liechtenstein and the Euro 2016 Qualifying match against Cyprus.
Bosnian manager Safet Susic will announce his roster for the next two games on August 22nd, a couple of days after his original planned date because of a few extra fixtures he wants to see.
There will be a few new names on the roster, and Susic today confirmed that Sanjin Prcic will be called up like many had expected following Sanjin's fantastic debut for Rennes on Sunday.
Apart from Prcic, Bosnian fans can expect a few more fresh faces on the roster, with FK Sarajevo players the most likely candidates. Following their recent success in the Europa League, Susic will most likely call up a few players from Bosnia's current best club.
Gojko Cimirot, the Sarajevo full back and Bosnian youth international, is the front runner for a call up. Others include Dejan Bandovic, Sarajevo's keeper, as our old third string keeper Asmir Avdukic will most likely not earn any more call ups.
Candidates for the national team outside of FK Sarajevo include Srdan Stanic, Zeljeznicar right back, and Semir Stilic, who currently plays in Poland. Stilic, who has continued his fine form from last season as he bagged two goals yesterday, is a likely candidate to replace the retired Zvjezdan Misimovic. Stanic, on the other hand, will be a tougher call up, even though he is unarguably our domestic league's best current player. It'll be tough because Bosnia currently has three already capable right backs in Mujdza, Vrsajevic, and Vranjes.
Bosnia-Herzegovina play Liechtenstein in Tuzla on September 4th.
