Fenerbahce eyeing Dzeko

Turkish club Fenerbahce are now reportedly targeting out of favour Manchester City striker Edin Dzeko.

Turkish media are now reporting that Fenerbahce, who sit 1st in the Super Lig, are preparing a € 15 million bid for the Bosnian.

This report comes amidst other reports that the Turkish club is looking to part ways with struggling striker Emmanuel Emenike.

As for Dzeko, who has recently come back from a month long injury, it has yet to be seen whether or not he can regain his form from last season. However, with the recent addition of forward Wilfred Bony, it is evident that Dzeko has been pushed backed to a second tier striker for the English side.

Just before this season, Dzeko, who's old deal would have expired this summer, signed a new 4 year deal that would keep him in Manchester until 2018. However, with a first half of the season marred by inconsistent play and injuries, it is apparent that Manchester City would be willing to part ways with the Bosnian should the right offer come around.

In 120 Premier League appearances for Manchester City these past 5 years, Dzeko has scored 48 goals and tallied 22 assists, all while getting very sparse playing time.
