Bosnia loses to Macedonia

The Bosnian handball team was unable to come back from a large opening deficit and earned their 2nd loss in 3 games in the 2015 World Handball Championships in Qatar.

The stagnant offense from the last game against Austria reared its' ugly head yet again for Bosnia, as they went a full 4 minutes without scoring a goal.

With a 1:6 deficit to climb after their slow start, the Bosnians came themselves a very large hole to climb out of against a strong Macedonian side.

During the end of the second half, Bosnia gathered itself and got back into the game, with the score being 11:13 for Macedonia at halftime.

Despite playing relatively better in the second half and being level with Macedonia several times, Dragan Markovic's men were still prone to errors and could not get over the hump. These errors ultimately cost the Bosnians, as Macedonia made them pay on their many turnovers.

In the end, Macedonia won with a scoreline of 22:25, and have now qualified for the knockout round, while Bosnia still sit firmly in 4th place with 2 points.

Bosnia's next match is against Tunisia on Wednesday, and, if they were to win this match, would qualify for the knockout stage.
