Bosnia loses its' final group match against Croatia

The Bosnia-Herzegovina handball team lost tonight in Doha as part of the last round of the group stage of the World Cup, as it was defeated by Croatia with a final result of 21:28.

With no chance for Bosnia to advance to the next round before the game even started, it was evident that Dragan Markovic's men were emotionally exhausted and were not playing their A game.

After the devastating loss 2 days ago to Tunisia, the Bosnians struggled to find any motivation to play, as they were down 8:17 at halftime. The largest lead the Croatians held during the game was an 11 goal lead.

In the second half, both teams began playing many of the reserves, with our boys just edging out the second half scoreline 13:11 for a final score of 21:28.

In a related topic, both Karacic brothers, Ivan (Bosnia-Herzegovina) and Igor (Croatia), faced off for the first time in an international tournament, with the younger brother Igor coming out on top on this occasion.

However, this game doesn't spell the end of Bosnia at this World Championship, as there will be a mini tournament determining the 17th-20th place teams, with Bosnia set to play Belarus next.

Until then, you can enjoy this fantastic goal scored by our reserves as Muhamed Zulfic passes to Josip Peric.
