Misimovic only wants to play in the Bundesliga

The most capped Bosnian international Zvjezdan Misimovic has turned down lucrative offers in Turkey because he only wants to continue his career in Germany.

Misimovic, who was born and raised in Germany and still has family there, said that it's more important for him to come back home than to take more money.

Since Misimovic is currently without a club after his lucrative contract with Guizhou ended last year, it's only a matter of time before the free kick specialist finds a new club.

Misimovic, who also recently retired from the Bosnian national team, could be called up by newly hired Bosnian coach Mehmed Bazdarevic if everything plays out just right. In order for him to earn back his spot back on the roster, however, Bazdarevic insisted that Misimovic would have to play regularly for his club, which is still a big if at this point.

Misimovic, who not only finished as the most capped Bosnian international ever with 83 games when he retired last year, is also second on the all time scoring list, with 25 goals to his repertoire.
