Ivan Martic and Milan Duric interest Bazdarevic

Serie A regulars Ivan Martic (Verona, RB) and Milan Duric (Cesena, ST) have most definitely been on newly appointed manager Mehmed Bazdarevic's radar as possible new call-ups.

Martic, who was born in Derventa, made a move last summer from the Swiss Super League into Serie A, and has been playing regularly for his new club.

The 24 year old defender has recently made it known that he is open to playing for Bosnia, while he is also eligible to represent Croatia & Switzerland.

Since Bosnia are relatively thin at the right back position with Mensur Mujdza injury prone and Avdija Vrsajevic more of a winger, Martic would add some much needed depth to our defense.

Duric, on the other hand, is a forward who has already represented Bosnia-Herzegovina, albeit on the youth level. Duric, who is most known to Bosnian fans for the hat trick he scored against a U-21 German side a couple of years ago, also plays regularly in the Serie A.

Under Susic, Bosnia only had two true strikers on the roster every game, which came back to haunt him during the Israel game as both of the strikers were injured. With a new manager, however, it seems time for Bosnia to finally bring in a 3rd striker who can come off the bench, and Duric definitely fits that bill.

Bazdarevic, who has recently said that he will soon travel to Italy to watch these two players in person, is definitely keeping his eye on two Serie A players.
